The children have thoroughly enjoyed their visits from Lim and look forward to him returning again to visit later on in the year.
Fr Stephen visited the children in Years 3 and 4 on Tuesday morning and answered some of their quite challenging questions about Jesus and His life.
He was inclined to agree with Daniel that some of the teaching of the Church is ‘very difficult to understand’!
Jude Bowden, the Governor with responsibility for Religious Education, undertook a learning walk on Tuesday with Mrs Topping our RE School Leader. This involves experiencing RE teaching across the school and how the classrooms are laid out to ensure that God is at the centre of all the work we do. Books were scrutinised and the children had the opportunity to talk about what they are learning in school with regard to religious education. It was a very interesting morning and enjoyed by everyone involved.
